New executive team appointments at Compass Group UK & Ireland

Compass Group UK & Ireland has announced a number of internal appointments to strengthen its executive team.

Robin Mills, who has worked in a number of sectors including retail and FMCG, has been appointed as managing director for Chartwells.

Mills, who joined Compass Group UK & Ireland as HR director three years ago, will be replacing Tony Byrne who is moving to Compass Group PLC to work on a series of global projects.

Taking on the role of UK and Ireland HR director is Andrew Richards who joins the executive team from Compass Group PLC where he was director of Group Reward.

Meanwhile Paul Galvin has also been appointed as finance director for Compass Group UK & Ireland.  Galvin took on the role in an interim capacity last October and has now been permanently appointed having made a huge contribution to the business in this role over the last six months.  

Commenting on the changes to the executive team, Ian Sarson, group managing director, Compass Group UK & Ireland, said: "I am delighted to announce these new appointments to our Executive team which I am sure will be hugely beneficial to Compass.
