New operations director at Tate Catering

Tate Catering has appointed Jeroen Schuijt, formerly general manager at the Royal Albert Hall, as the new operations director.

Jeroen will be based at Tate Britain and will be responsible for the catering operations at all four Tate Galleries as well as at The Fitzwilliam Cambridge, The Bluecoat Liverpool, and Somerset House Ice Rink.

 

At the Royal Albert Hall, Jeroen was responsible for three restaurants, 13 bars and 120 hospitality boxes and banqueting. He also previously worked for the USA arm of Restaurant Associates at the Philadelphia Museum of Art and the Wadsworth Athenaeum Museum of Art.

 

Jeroen will be working with chief executive officer Robin Bidgood, award-winning Sommelier Hamish Anderson, and executive head chef Sean Davies.
