A new exhibition has been launched which sees London’s corporate and professional events caterers come together during a two-day event.

easyFairs  londonlaunch LIVE 2008 – June 25-26 at Earls Court 2 – gives caterers inside the M25 an opportunity to network with leading conference and party planners, venue managers, and hospitality decision makers.

Several food service providers, including Canapeum Events, Fizz UK, Sodexo and Country Caterers, have already committed to exhibiting at the inaugural show, which is expected to attract upwards of 100 stands and 2,000 visitors.

Anna Fenten from Sodexo, which caters for diners at exclusive venues like The Cabinet War Rooms and HMS Belfast, said: "We are very proud to be joining the show; it's an opportunity for us able to showcase not only our existing prestigious collection of venues, but also newly acquired contracts like Southwark Cathedral, to key events organisers."

The show also features a Celebrity Chef 'cook-off' starring, amongst others, Ready, Steady, Cook regular Lesley Walters, and an Ibiza-theme VIP party provided by Ministry of Sound.

And the International Special Events Society (ISES) has also chosen to hold its annual conference at easyFairslondonlaunch LIVE on the event's opening day.

Peter Heath, Managing Director of easyFairsUK, said: "London is a massive international player in the hospitality and conference sectors – and we thought it about time there was a trade show dedicated to the city and the diversity of opportunity it offers event organisers. We want to showcase the capital's venues and services to professionals tasked with creating engaging, stimulating events, parties, exhibitions and conferences."
