The school, which focuses on promoting the Quaker values of peace, equality and social justice, has chosen to make changes to their catering provision to ensure that the food services reflect the school culture.
The bursar Julie Davis said: "We are frankly astounded with the remarkable transformation that Wilson Vale's team has made from day one even though we gave them only two weeks notice!
"The new food service style utilising local suppliers and fresh ingredients has been enthusiastically welcomed by pupils and staff and we have already received really positive feedback from both our students and parents. "
Director Andrew Wilson commented on the win: "After being squeezed into second place last year on cost grounds we were delighted to get the call asking us to take over. There is no doubt that whilst we will never be the lowest cost provider we can demonstrate tremendous value for our clients with our fresh food culture and practical craft emphasis."
