The new three year contract between Payne and Gunter and the livery hall, located near St Paul's Cathedral, is worth in excess of £700,000 per annum and will see Payne and Gunter move from its place on the approved caterers' list to the resident caterer. The events catering specialist will provide British food with a twist for meeting and events in the 17th century livery hall in the City of London.
Stationers' Hall is one of the rare venues in London to have its own secluded garden. The venue features three indoor areas which can accommodate up to 400 people, a Court Room, a Main Hall and Stock Room.
Matthew Thompson, managing director, Sport, Leisure and Hospitality, Compass Group UK & Ireland, said: "During our time as an approved caterer at Stationers' Hall, we demonstrated and continually proved the high quality and flair that Payne and Gunter can bring to an event.
"We are absolutely thrilled that we will be working more closely with Stationers' Hall, a stunning venue which is steeped in history, as the resident caterer."
