Pritchitts wins top award for environmental performance

14th December 2011, 10:29am

Dairy expert Pritchitts has received a top accolade in the annual Environmental Benchmarking Survey conducted by Business in the Community’s ARENA Network and supported by the Northern Ireland Environment Agency.

The annual survey assesses businesses in terms of their environmental credentials.

Pritchitts head of marketing Simon Muschamp said: "We are delighted that our environmental performance has been recognised in this way. The fact that we have received the top ranking reflects the efforts we have made in recent years to limit the impact our business has on the environment and we will continue to focus on this aspect of business going forward."

Northern Ireland environment minister, Alex Attwood, added: "The ARENA Network Survey is strategically important for businesses and the public sector because it challenges all of us to do the right thing to protect our environment while delivering clear business benefits for participants."

Business in the Community stands for responsible business practice and has more than 240 member companies in Northern Ireland.
