The new ingredients featuring Mushroom Stroganoff, Roasted Red Pepper Plait, Chinese Stuffed Peppers, New Potato and Spring Vegetable Bake, and Quorn Sausage Hotpot and Aubergine Bake, all complement the programme introduced by Quadrant.
The programme aims to help customer choose healthier options by providing wide range value-for-money, nutritious meals.
Quadrant will be serving these dishes throughout Vegetarian Week from 19-25 May and will be adding them to their recipe database to be served throughout the year.
Dr Su Wang, group head of health, Royal Mail Group, explained why the new meals have been introduced: "We are determined to provide our people with all possible support to help them deliver excellent service to our customer – and that includes ensuring they have the benefit of a top-quality, healthy, nutritious and value-for-money catering service."
Quadrant serves over 5,000 hot meals a day across 90 Royal mail restaurants nationwide.
