Restaurant Associates appoints managing director

Restaurant Associates has appointed Nick Potter as managing director.

Potter will take up his new role in April, and will play an essential role in the Restaurant Associates leadership team. Reporting to Jason Leek, sector managing director - Business & Industry, Nick will focus on building on the strength of the Restaurant Associates brand and its exclusivity within the market.

Potter has extensive experience in the leisure, restaurant and entertainment markets and joins Compass Group UK & Ireland's exclusive market-leading food and support services business from Gala Coral, the international leisure organisation, where he held various roles including divisional managing director. Prior to this, he held senior leadership positions with Eldridge Pope and Allied Domecq
