Retention director appointed at Compass Group UK & Ireland

Compass Group UK & Ireland has appointed Carol Hudson as the retention director.

Hudson has over 30 years of operational and sales experience across the catering industry, consisting of over 12 years with Gardner Merchant and six years as an independent consultant before joining Compass in 1998.

As part of her new role Hudson will lead the retention activity across all business sectors and will report to Ian Sarson, group managing director, Compass Group UK & Ireland.  

Sarson commented: "Our primary aim is to drive contract retention across all sectors of our UK business. We need to understand our clients, meet their needs and establish their trust. Carol's insight in developing winning client relationships is second to none, and I am confident that her appointment as Retention Director is set to drive our future growth."
