

Restaurant Associates' SO Deli brand received high acclaim for the fourth time since the start of the year, being "highly recommended" in the General Mills Award for the Consumer Understanding category.
The award recognises companies which "truly understand their end consumers and which use insight to develop innovative business solutions".
Back in March, SO Deli was awarded the Best Workplace Catering Solution at the Menu Innovation Network's inaugural Menu Innovation and Development Awards (MIDAS).
In April it was shortlisted for the Marketing Cost Sector Catering Award and in May SO Deli was awarded the joint top position for Workplace Sandwich Supplier of the Year.
Jon Siswick, Marketing Brand Director, Restaurant Associates said: "Being highly commended in the IGD Food Industry Awards, against the likes of Spar, Premier Foods and Bird's Eye Iglo, is a real honour. This recognition celebrates a real team effort – the Compass insights team was instrumental in its market research, our design studio created outstanding designs and our culinary and energy teams have continually driven the development, mobilisation and execution of the brand in client sites. We are very proud of our achievements."
