Salon Culinaire

15th November 2007, 12:13pm

Culinary competitions are a key element of Hotelympia and yet again 2008 will be no different.

If you have ever wondered about taking your skills to the bigger stage then entries for Le Salon Culinaire International de Londres, the renowned Culinary Challenge, which will host over 80 competition classes during the five days of Hotelympia 2008 (17th-21st February), at ExCeL, is now open.

Whatever your skill, or from whichever sector of the hospitality industry you work, Salon Culinaire at Hotelympia can be your stage. From the open creativity permitted in the junior and senior categories of Salon Display, through to the pressures of the Live Theatre, the smell of success is merely an application form away.

For a complete list of classes from Salon Display to Live Theatre, please log on to www.hotelympia.com and download a brochure or contact Peter Griffiths, tel. 01564 776842, email, peter@salonculinaire.co.uk .

The deadline for entries to be received is 1st December, but classes do fill up quickly so the sooner the better.

Peter Griffiths, Salon Director, is delighted with the programme of classes this year: "Salon Culinaire at Hotelympia 2008 is all set to be one of the best yet. We have devised a very exciting programme that has something to suit everyone. This year we are also extremely keen to get chefs involved that have not participated in Salon previously. So, don your jacket, get your application form in early and hopefully you will get the chance to wow some of the 40,000 visitors to Hotelympia."

If you book online tickets are free. There is a £30 charge on the day.
