In partnership with Scottish Enterprise, Scotland Food & Drink is holding a free workshop on the London Olympics 2012, where attendees will find out all they need to know about the food and drink supply opportunities and how to get involved.

The event will be held on Wednesday 17th March 2010 in the David Douglas Room, Royal Botanic Garden, Edinburgh, 9.30am – 12 noon.

Once the caterers have been appointed, the next stage of procurement will commence and it this opportunity that Scottish businesses need to be able to access to become a supplier to the Games.

Scotland Food & Drink would like to encourage Scottish food and drink businesses to apply for the forthcoming contracts, which will be an unrivalled occasion to supply excellent quality products to a huge national and international audience and this workshop will review the opportunities and how these can be accessed.

The workshop will be led by Jillian Moffat, Head of Olympic And Commonwealth Games Legacy at Scottish Enterprise, and will cover topics such as an overview of both the London 2012 Olympic & Paralympic Games, how to register on the CompeteFor website to apply for London 2012 contracts and how to maximise your chances of winning contracts.
