Seasoned Events, part of the Crown Group, has promoted Adrian Booth to the role of executive chef at the award winning food and events business.

Booth will be responsible for food development, menu planning and food design for all of the company's events, ranging from intimate dinners for 10, right the way through to banquets and parties for over 2,500 guests.

Colin Sayers, managing director, Seasoned Events, said: "Adrian is an accomplished chef that deserves to be leading our award-winning team.

"As a business, we always look to develop our staff by promoting from within first. It is always healthy to benchmark roles and skills against the industry but in Adrian we know that we have one of the best in the business. Not only is he experienced, professional and highly capable, but his care and passion for food and customer service is second to none, making him the ideal candidate to lead us into a busy 2012."

Booth added: "I am delighted at my appointment as executive chef and look forward to upholding the enviable reputation that Seasoned Events has within the industry."

He will be replacing Sam Walker, who recently left the business to pursue a lifelong ambition to run his own restaurant.

Seasoned Events provides food and events management services to over 60 venues across London and the surrounding areas, and is listed at a number of the industry's top venues including the Guildhall, Madame Tussauds and Hampton Court Palace, as well as being the sole food and events provider at Tower Bridge Walkways, Royal Courts of Justice and the Leander Club.
