Springboard Awards for Excellence 2010 – call for entries

Workers in the hospitality, leisure and tourism industry have until the 30th September to enter this year's Springboard Awards for Excellence 2010.

The accolades celebrate and reward inspiring people, organisations and initiatives- those that work hard to elevate the profile of the industry as an employer, helping attract and retain talent.

Awards categories:

Category 1: Promoting Careers

 The Springboard Ambassador's Award
 Best Regional Initiative
 The Web Award
 The Education Award

Category 2: Attracting People

 The Young People Award
 Best Student Placement Award
 The Diversity in Employment Award
 Best Initiative to Attract Chefs
 Best Initiative to Attract People into Management

Category 3: Best Employment Practice

 Best Employer Award
 Best Career Progression Award
 The Retention Award
 Best Recruitment Initiative Award
 The Corporate Responsibility Award
 People Innovation Award

The Chris Beaumont Special Award – For most outstanding contribution towards Springboard Aims.

Entries can be made by individuals, teams or partnerships for initiatives that have achieved measurable results over the past 12 months.

The awards winners will be announced at a celebration evening in November 2010 at a venue within London, attended by 500 senior guests from all over the hospitality, leisure and tourism industry.
