

The trust's work helps young, unemployed and disadvantaged people improve their chances of getting sustainable work in the hospitality, leisure, travel and tourism sectors.
At the same time their work benefits industry through encouraging new entrants, promoting career opportunities and generally raising the profile of the industry.
Phil, who has over 30 of industry experience, all at Sodexo, will use his sales and marketing expertise to support Springboard in their activities from 1st September. The board of Trustees also oversee the work and development of the Springboard management team.
Further to his role at Sodexo, Phil is also a Fellow of the Institute of Hospitality, chairman of the BSA, chair of the Foodservice and Management Forum at the BHA, and also sits on the BHA council.
He said: "I am delighted to have the opportunity to support Springboard, their role is vital in encouraging young people to come into our industry. I look forward to working more closely with the organisation and with 43,000 members of staff and the need to recruit further great talent, Springboard's role helps us, and the industry as a whole, in building our foundations".
