Brakes, a supplier to the foodservice industry, is supporting local charity SAFC Foundation by catering for its 'Fashion Strikes' fundraiser event being held at the Stadium of Light tomorrow (November 16).

The food giant will be serving the guests a three-course meal to accompany the evening's entertainment.

In addition to the fashion show, guests will be treated to a champagne reception and there will be musical performances from X Factor finalist Danyl Johnson and Britain's Got Talent performers Irresistible.

This is the third consecutive year that Brakes has sponsored the catering at Fashion Strikes which last year raised more than £20,000 for the charity.

Susan Justice, Brakes regional sales manager, said: "As the largest independent foodservice supplier in Europe, Brakes care greatly about the communities in which we operate. We take our corporate responsibility very seriously and are delighted to be involved in this exciting event which raises much needed funds for such a worthwhile cause."
