The European Safety Bureau retains Baxterstorey contract

8th September 2010, 9:41am

The European Safety Bureau has secured its contract with BaxterStorey for a further two years until the end of 2012.

Services provided by The Bureau include a full, annual auditing programme at each of BaxterStorey's catering sites and ongoing training for management and staff.  The Bureau also provides crisis management support and a 24/7 helpline manned by fully qualified environmental health practitioners.

Chief executive Derek Gardner commented on the deal:  "Retaining the BaxterStorey contract for 10 years is a huge feather in our cap.  Both companies are privately owned and I believe that this independence enables us to offer our respective clients a responsive, personalised service underpinned by an effective and efficient infrastructure."

In addition, The Bureau has been appointed as specialist food safety trainers to Esporta Health Clubs. The Bureau will be providing CIEH-certificated Food Safety Training to Esporta on a quarterly basis for its restaurants, cafés, bars and function rooms.

Gardner added: "We are delighted that Esporta has given us the opportunity to 'exercise' our professional abilities and we hope this will be just the start of a long and mutually beneficial 'mixed doubles' partnership.

"Like The Bureau, Esporta pride themselves on excellent service, expert coaching and an unsurpassed client experience based on exacting standards. I have no doubt that, together, we will form a winning team and triumph in the Food Safety arena!"
