The briefing will take place on Tuesday 21 September from 10am –1pm at the Thistle Hotel Haydock in Merseyside.

It will be the second in a series of management briefings and follows the Manchester briefing which took place in June and was attended by a "cross section" of industry experts.

The event will provide hospitality professionals with the opportunity to receive insider updates on critical industry and government initiatives.

The briefing is designed to deliver "digestible and practical" information on current legislation hot topics, such as employment law, copyright, and licensing issues.

Presentations on the current careers climate, professionalism and excellence, and how all of these topics link into the Institute of Hospitality's role as the industry's professional body will also be discussed.
