Hope said: "It is a great pleasure and honour to be appointed Food and Drink Ambassador for Rutland. When we acquired and renovated The Olive Branch pub (www.theolivebranchoub.com) in Clipsham in 1999, there were only a handful of places to eat or buy good food, but there is now an exciting buzz about Rutland which, despite it being the smallest county, has led to its growing reputation for gastronomic excellence."
The East of England Show, which will celebrate Britosh farming and rural life, is returning to the East of England Showground on 18th, 19th and 20th June. Hope will take centre stage in the food demonstration theatre at the showground at 10am.
Hope is also the owner/chef at the Red Lion Inn in Stathern.
