The Academy is bringing Disney Institute's professional development program, the "Disney Keys to Excellence," to London this September for a week-long series of seminars, which will see 1,000 people from across the UK hospitality market take part.
Full-day sessions will run over five days, from September 14 to 18 at the Intercontinental Hotel, Park Lane, and will give professionals an opportunity to experience the business behind the Disney magic – proven strategies and practices that will be easily adaptable to any organisation.
Jeff James, vice president for Disney Institute, said: "Participants will discover Disney practices that they can incorporate into their own businesses. These strategies and tactics have been proven successful for more than 50 years.
"What makes the Disney learning experience so different is that we don't simply teach theory. We give participants an 'insider's look' at business philosophies that have helped Disney to consistently rank as one of the world's most admired companies and brands."
David McHattie, the Academy's chief executive, added: "Our role is to seek out and promote excellence in training. Disney Institute is a world-class trainer used by blue chip companies internationally to enhance leadership, service and business skills. So, we are naturally excited by this outstanding opportunity for the hospitality sector to experience and learn from one of the world's most respected brands."
Peach Factory will be managing the week-long programme on behalf of the Academy. There will be five one day seminars run on consecutive days – with 200 people attending each day.
