London's Flying Chef has appointed Sarah Hughes as operations manager and Steve Morton as head chef.

In addition, the catering company has launched a new website which includes new menu options offering freshly baked artisan breads, savoury dishes and hand crafted canapés.

Hughes joins Flying Chef from Creativevents where she worked as stand catering manager at the ExCel Exhibition Centre, and Morton previously worked as head chef at De Vere venue; Gorse Hill Manor where he was responsible for running the entire food operation within the 50 bedroom hotel and conference centre.

Lee Skinner, managing director, London's Flying Chef said: "I am delighted to have Sarah and Steve working with me to develop and promote the Flying Chef brand. With Sarah's industry knowledge and Steve's culinary skills we will continue to provide a high standard of service to our clients while creating innovative seasonal menus for private parties, breakfast meetings and working lunches.

"At Flying Chef we now use Halal chicken as standard and have managed to keep 90% of prices the same as in 2009, providing great value in a tough market."
