WFM to host wine tasting and cookery class events

Whole Foods Market (WFM) is hosting a range of events over the next couple of weeks including wine tasting, cookery classes, and children’s events to increase people’s knowledge within the catering industry.

The Market's Wine Club & wine tastings:

 

  • Tuesday 26th February – free wine tastings (7pm)

 Every Tuesday WFM holds its popular Wine Club (cost £30). In addition to this there are occasional free wine tastings and next week shoppers can sample wines from the extensive range for free with expert advice.

 

  • Friday 29th February free wine tasting (5 - 7pm)

 A wine bar is situated on the ground floor in WFM, where tasting sessions and advice from the expert speciality team will be provided.
 
In store cookery demonstrations:

Wednesday 20th February – 'Shop with the Chef' (10am & 7pm)

 

Expert chef Dan Hayes will be offering expert advice. He will be focusing on Goujons of Dover Sole this week.

 

  • Wednesday 27th February – Fair-Trade 'Shop with the Chef' (10am & 7pm)

 Dan will be cooking using only Fairtrade products.

 

  • Monday 3rd March - Chocolate heaven at WFM

 Chocolate fountains and desert making demonstrations will be staged on this date.

 

  • Monday 17th March - how to sushi (4pm)

 Expert sushi chefs will take participants through a step-by-step guide to cooking sushi, including tips on quality, accompaniments and preparation.

 

Mums & Kids Events:

 

  • Monday 25th February - mummy's morning (10 – 11am)

 Tea and coffee will be served to mums.

 

  • Monday 25th February - Kids Club (5 – 7pm)

 Ethically-sourced products will be on offer to raise children's ethical awareness.

 

And on top of all of this, there will be health and beauty seminars, walk in chair massages, and Sunday brunch available for visitors to enjoy.
