WI-FI BRINGS A BUSINESS BOOST

4th May 2007, 10:57am

Restaurants providing free wireless internet services - Wi-Fi - are likely to see sales increase while building on customer loyalty, according to a survey by freehotspot.com.

Research among 1000 users in six European countries showed 84 percent were more willing to purchase from businesses offering the service, while 96% said that they would return again.

Half the Wi-Fi users surveyed stated that they came to the HotSpot location specifically for the free Wi-Fi while the remaining half were 'regular' customers of the establishment.
