apetito quits the education market

3rd June 2009, 10:36am

apetito has announced that it is withdrawing from the education market, after years of supplying the UK's primary schools.

The company told CostSectorCatering.co.uk that they will be removing its range of meals for primary schools with immediate effect.

Ian Stone, Business Development Director explained that apetito will now concentrate on its other business arms such as care homes: "Following a thorough review of its education division over the last few months apetito has concluded that the current approach no longer allows a viable, long term opportunity.

"It will be withdrawing its education specific products from the marketplace and will focus on growing its other divisions."
