Catermasters is in the first year of its contract to cater for staff at DuPont in Bristol and serves up healthy meals in the company's 'Café Severn' staff restaurant, as well as providing a hospitality service for visitors to the site.
The Environmental Health Food team at South Gloucestershire Council recently assessed the kitchen and restaurant at DuPont as part of the 'Scores on the Doors' scheme.
The explanation for a five-star rating states: 'excellent - there is an excellent record of compliance. Standards are high and conform to statutory obligations and industry codes of practice'.
Catermasters Joint managing director, Nigel Johnson, said: "We haven't been on site at DuPont very long but from day one we have strived to provide a clean and tidy work environment and the best quality food.
"The fact that has been recognised by food safety enforcers is very pleasing and is testament to the hard work of Chef Manager Ian Williams and his Food Service Assistants Linda Ward and Sharon Jones."
