National Skills Academy offers free places on Disney program

29th July 2009, 9:32am

The National Skills Academy, Hospitality, is funding a limited number of free places at Disney Institute’s world renowned professional development program, the “Disney Keys to Excellence,” being held in London this September.

Individuals and companies can now register for tickets for one of the five days of industry seminars.

Big name operators have already signed up to support this major people development and leadership initiative, which will see 1,000 people from across the UK hospitality market take part.

Sessions will run over five days, from September 14 to 18, at the Intercontinental Hotel, Park Lane.

McDonalds, Whitbread, JD Wetherspoon, Punch Taverns, Wagamama, Bay Restaurant Group, Town & City, Hall & Woodhouse, Barcelo Hotels, People 1st and Living Ventures Academy have all become Operator Partners and will be sending teams throughout the week.

The Academy is also funding a limited number of places for which both individuals and companies can now apply.

There will be five one day seminars run on consecutive days – with 200 people attending each day - including two sessions on leadership excellence, two on quality service and one covering business excellence.

To register a request for free places, people should go to the events special website at www.hospitalityskillsacademy-disneyprogramme.co.uk and fill in the online form.

The deadline for registrations is Monday 10th August.

The form is a request for places only and does not guarantee a place or constitute a booking. All successful registrations will be contacted by email by 14 August 2009.
