Sodexo wins hotel and conference contract with Stirling Management Centre

Sodexo has secured a multi-million pound contract to manage conference and hotel services at the Stirling Management Centre – an enterprise of the University of Stirling.

The six year contract, which is worth £14.4 million in total turnover, will see Sodexo provide services at the 101-bedroom centre which is a leading venue for conferences and events.  Sodexo will provide services from 1 August.

The caterer will provide a wide range of services for the centre, including conference support, restaurant and conference dining, bar facilities, housekeeping and accommodation services.

Paul Cowie, Sodexo account manager, said: "We are delighted to have won this contract to provide services at the Stirling Management Centre, building on the excellent work already undertaken at the university. We look forward to working with the centre and to further enhancing our partnership with the University of Stirling."

Karen Plouviez, director of estates and campus services at the University of Stirling, added: "Sodexo submitted an exciting bid and we look forward to the commencement of the contract and further development of the experience for SMC's customers."
