Lowering of Salt Levels

The Hospitality Factor

19th January 2011, Westminster Kingsway College in London

The director of Arena, Lorraine Wood, is hosting an X Factor-themed fundraising later this month to help raise funds for The Springboard Charity Great Wall of China Trek.

The X-Factor event is searching for all budding Matt Cardle's, Leona Lewis' or even Jedwards of the hospitality industry to take part in the competition.

The event includes a drinks reception, a Chinese meal courtesy of Sharwoods, disco, karaoke and cash bar. The X Factor competition will kick off at 9.00pm followed by a disco and karaoke.

Level 4 Award in Managing Food Safety in Catering

24th – 28th January 2011, Bushey Hall Golf Club, Watford, Herts

Aimed at managers, trainers and owners, the course focuses on how to develop cost-effective food safety procedures. It is one of the qualifications those wishing to train the Level 2 and Level 3 food hygiene course must have.
