As part of the three-year-deal, Sodexo will provide a range of fine dining and deli services in Virgin Atlantic's Clubhouses in the UK, USA and South Africa.
Due to commence on 1 August, Sodexo will be responsible for delivering 'on the ground' dining experiences for Virgin Atlantic's Upper class passengers.
With so many sites across many different borders globally, the challenge was to provide a consistent global offer with a local influence in each Clubhouse.
Nigel Scott, Sodexo account director who led the bid, said: "We took the time to fully understand the ethos, culture and core values of Virgin Atlantic. We believe that the customer experience in the clubhouse should deliver as much enjoyment as the flight itself."
Clare Bacchus, head of Clubhouses at Virgin Atlantic Airways, added: "The Virgin Atlantic team were impressed with the global approach to Sodexo's proposal, the locally influenced food innovations and the customer centric service styles. We see Sodexo as a great fit for our Clubhouses which offer our customers a chance to relax and enjoy high quality service to their tune."
